Boko Haram Kingpin writes GEJ says I'm ready to name sponsors

Convicted Boko Haram member, Kabiru Sokoto, has said he is ready to give out names of Boko Haram sponsors. This was disclosed through a letter to President Goodluck Jonathan on Thursday, May 28, 2014 from Kuje Prison Abuja where he is presently undergoing a life imprisonment sentence passed on him.

Sokoto who claimed he was innocent of the crimes in which he was convicted for pleaded with the President to show him mercy as he is willing to fully support his administration in bringing the Boko Haram reign of terror to an end.

Apple VS Samsung: Apple takes Samsung to Court

Apple has accused Samsung of "systematically" copying distinctive features such as "slide to unlock" from its devices.

The American corporation is suing Samsung for up to $2 billion (£1.2 bn); as it wants Samsung to be forced to pay $40 (£24) royalty on every device it deems to be copying its software.

In the court filings, the company said: "Apple revolutionised the market in personal computing devices.
"Samsung, in contrast, has systematically copied Apple's innovative technology and products, features and designs, and has deluged markets with infringing devices.''

The company also claimed that Samsung stole tap-from-search technology.

However, Samsung has refuted Apple's claims. The South Korean firm, which is also the market leader, said that it was a pioneer and apple was doing the copying.

"Samsung has been a pioneer in the mobile device business sector since the inception of the mobile device industry," said Samsung lawyers.

"Apple has copied many of Samsung's innovations in its Apple iPhone, iPod, and iPad products.''

Samsung added that it owns a patent relating to how media pictures and videos are organised on a
device. It also said it invented a method for sending and receiving data using low bandwidth connections.
