Arsene Wenger has admitted that the 4-2 FA Cup semi-final win against Wigan Athletic have boosted the Arsenal's morale - and keeps them in good spirit as they aim to finish amongst the top four at the end of the season.
Following an abysmal 3-0 defeat by Everton eight days ago, Arsenal lost
their hold on fourth place when the Merseyside club cruise past relegation-threatened Sunderland
on Saturday.
Currently on 64 points, the Gunners are two points behind fourth-placed Everton with five matches
remaining to the end of the season, but manager Arsene Wenger said Saturday's Cup win could help
put them in the right mental state for the challenge ahead.
