According to AfricanFootball.com, coach Stephen Keshi, on Monday, sent a formal notice to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) accepting to continue as the country’s head coach.
The NFF three-man committee to open contract talks with Keshi formally sent him a letter of intent and it was this letter that the 'Big Boss' had replied to.
AfricanFootball.com also claimed that Keshi earlier told them that he has unfinished business with Nigeria, hence his desire to continue as Super Eagles coach.
However, Keshi has made it very clear he wishes that a new contract will take in an official house and car, which was not the case in the first contract.
He also maintained prompt payment of his monthly salary and the need for him to pick his backroom staff.
The Super Eagles will begin preparations as soon as possible - ahead of the AFCON qualifiers campaign, which commences in few months time.
