Barcelona ace Andres Iniesta is confident that his side can still win the La-Liga title; even after losing to Real Sociedad on Saturday.
Barca were shockingly defeated 3-1 by Sociedad on last weekend and they now trail Real Madrid by three points at the top of the table.
However, the scrupulous Iniesta, who admitted they deserved the defeat, has expressed his confidence on the team; insisting that they remain worthy contenders of the title. Continue...
"Real Sociedad played really well. They were better than us; we were always trailing them," Iniesta told the official Barca website.
"This defeat shouldn't make us give up. We have to work hard and turn this situation around. There are many points left, and we have games against direct rivals."
Meanwhile, defence icon Gerard Pique also believes that the Catalans are still in the fight for the title despite the loss.
"We're just one game off being league leaders so it's not too troubling," Pique said
.
