A ghastly motor accident occurred along the
Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, on Friday morning - leaving at least 6 individuals dead and several others injured.
According to eye witnesses present at the scene, the accident was caused by a collision between a moving truck and a faulty truck, parked on the expressway. Vehicles involved in the accident were seriously damaged.
One of the vehicles involved was a “mini-truck carrying labour hands who were going to a building site”. A female survivor rushed to a hospital near 7up, and then to the Gbagada General Hospital, Lagos for further treatment.
Security agencies including the FRSC, Nigeria Police, Army are already present at the area to salvage the situation.
