"Don't Write United Off" - Rooney

Despite a frustrating start to the Premier League this season, Wayne Rooney has warned that no one should write off Manchester United as he believes the team will turn out to be successful under the leadership of Louis van Gaal.

United were defeated 5-3 by Championship side Leicester City, in a premier League clash, at the King Power Stadium last Sunday

Following the frustrating result, United fans and supporters heavily criticised the squad for a lack of concentration, but United captain says Louis van Gaal's side should not be written off.

"There seems to be a lot of people who have written us off because of Sundays result but I don't see it that way. When I look around our dressing room and see the quality we have and the managers unbelievable attention to detail I have no doubts this team will be successful," Rooney wrote on his Facebook page.

The Old Trafford will host West ham in the Barclay's Premier League this weekend.
