Aaron Ramsey Returns To Action For Arsenal

Veteran Arsenal coach - Arsene Wenger has confirmed Aaron Ramsey is ready to start in the FA Cup semi-final clash with Wigan Athletic on Saturday.

The Welshman, who started the season in an awesome form, had been sidelined since boxing Day with a thigh injury - but he returned as a second-half substitute during the club's 3-0 defeat to Everton last Sunday.

Whilst confirming the return of Ramsey, the French boss also pointed that both Mesut Ozil and Laurent Koscielny have been ruled out of the fixture at Wembley - with Kieran Gibbs, Tomas Rosicky and Alex Oxlade Chamberlain are all injury doubts.

"Ramsey is ready to start against Wigan. Ozil could be back next Saturday, Koscielny could be back for Tuesday," Wenger told reporters.

"We have a lot of uncertainties. Gibbs, Rosicky and Oxlade-Chamberlain are all doubts.

"[Lukasz] Fabianski will start in goal. It's a decision that has been made for a long time.

"We want to win the semi-final and it's important to focus on that. We respect Wigan highly.

"I'm expecting everyone to contribute because we have a lot of experience. We have played great games in the FA Cup ."

The FA Cup is believed to be the Gunners' surest hope of a silverware this season.

Could the return of this midfield talisman mean victory for the Emirate club?
